This was my dinner today for the Pre-Feast of Chinese New Year. For the actual Chinese New Year, I will go to a restaurant with the rest of my family and have lunch. Then, on Monday, we will be having a post-feast for Chinese New Year. I’m looking forward to the Chả giò we are going to make for the post-feast. It’s one of my favorites. Especially the one we are going to make, it’s going to have grated taro in the meat to make it very smooth and creamy. It’s absolutely delicious, but it’s very oily, so you shouldn’t eat a lot of it.
